The saxon braid IS very nice but if you feel having it would compromise the beauty of the piece as opposed to the beauty of one lement, you could always (sadly) take it out. On the other hand, maybe just the coin cable on either side of the saxon braid could look nice.. It is YOUR design but that's what I suggest! Best of luck and your work is beautiful!Nicholettehttp://ravelry.com/people/purplerockstarnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5362714659408291157.post-48716111924316643072011-08-24T15:02:45.062-05:002011-08-24T15:02:45.062-05:00I don't care for the left panel, but that may ...I don't care for the left panel, but that may just be me. The way you have it, the Saxon Braid adds a lot of weight on the left side. But that's just what my symmetrical brain picks up. I am AR about symmetry!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10320479482884046928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5362714659408291157.post-64858948479466589662011-08-24T09:38:04.975-05:002011-08-24T09:38:04.975-05:00I love the Saxon Braid too - so much that it is ha...I love the Saxon Braid too - so much that it is hard to pair things with it. Unfortunately, a requirement is a pattern with a bobble and after four swatches this was the least offensive. I try to avoid bobbles but this one is growing on me. If it were up to me I would cut it too, but not up to me.Yarn Changerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01114257528136246613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5362714659408291157.post-66778658485922365562011-08-24T08:28:48.846-05:002011-08-24T08:28:48.846-05:00You asked for suggestions, I love the Saxon Braid...You asked for suggestions, I love the Saxon Braid, but not keen on the other two next to it.
