Happy Wednesday. I'm enjoying lots of different knitting projects at one time. First my vest is assembled and I had delusions about doing an i-cord edging and being done for Friday. Two problems with that thought. I-Cord edging is boring. Second, it is not working that well; I don't have the right gauge and it is puckering.
I'm probably going to pull it out and do a crochet edging but I'm still in denial.
I'm moving along well on my Noro sweater. Front and back are done and I'm maybe a third through the sleeves. Worrying about having enough because I've been trying to match the color striping.
The baby sweater has not been touched. And I have started swatching on the silk I won at guild, thinking about a cowl.
What are you working on? Head over to
Tami's to see lots of other fabulous projects.
I hate I-cord edge knitting, but I love I-cord edge looks. Hope you are able to deal with whatever decision you make. The Noro will be stunning!
ReplyDeleteToo bad the iCord isn't working out; it makes such a nice edge. Lovely colours in your Noro sweater! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteRemember frogging can be therapeutic. I'm loving the Noro colors.
ReplyDeleteThe Noro sweater is beautiful! I love Noro yarn.
