I've been reading Amy Herzog's Knit to Flatter and find there is a lot of good information in there. I think you can tell from the picture that the back has waist shaping with vertical darts. I'm used to doing it at the sides, so I'm going to be interested to see how this looks. She has some very interesting techniques. Hopefully in the not to distant future it will be ready for a Friday.
Also, just in the category of just for fun, here is a picture of my husband trying to fit my small Norwegian sweater on our cat. This was not the cat's idea of fun. She is also not the smallest cat around so we could only get one sleeve on her.
It lasted all of about half a second. How on earth do people get dogs to wear sweaters?
Head over to Tami's to see what others are working on.
It's because they are dogs. Cats are much more independent.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that is why I like cats.
DeleteI seem to be agreeing with Stitched a lot this morning. Cats are a whole 'nother species from dogs. Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteClearly I am not a dog person.
DeleteLol at the cat's face! Bless :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine the bloodbath that would ensue if I were to try to get my cat into a sweater!! I'm eager to see your sweater ... and eager to know whether the tips in the book really work :)
